LED Display
Useful information is clearly displayed on the easy-to-read OLED display. This includes the charge level of the installed battery.
Trimming Version
Hedge trimmers in the trimming version are ideal for shaping and fine cuts for your hedges and shrubs. The blade geometry has a smaller tooth spacing and lower blade height, and the gear ratio ensures a high stroke rate. This means that even delicate work can be carried out cleanly.
Rotatable Multi-Function Handle
The rotatable multi-function handle enables precise and comfortable cutting with your hedge trimmer, both at your side and at head height. It can be rotated 90° to the left and right, and so is also suitable for left-handed and right-handed users. This means the power tool is always in the most ergonomically effective position in your hand.
Double-Sided Cutting Blade
The double-sided cutting blade facilitates optimum hedge cutting: vertically, horizontally and in corners. Thanks to the double-sided cutting blades, you can effectively trim or prune your hedge – even those thicker branches.
Adjustable Blade-Stroke Rate
With the 3-level adjustable blade stroke rate, you can select the right blade speed for every task. You can easily adjust the hedge trimmer using the control cockpit on the rotatable multi-function handle. As the control cockpit rotates with the handle, the switch is always within easy reach, regardless of the handle position.
Blade Scabbard
Transport and store your hedge trimmer and shrub shears safely and securely with the tailor-made blade scabbard.
Screw-On Cut Protection
Screw-on cut protection increases your safety, for example when trimming hedges. If the cut protection tip wears out, you can easily replace it.
EC Engine
Thanks to its compact design, low weight and high efficiency, the EC engine enables you to work in an energy efficient manner. This engine also has a long service life.
IPX4 Certified
The IPX protection classes define the moisture protection of electrical or electronic devices. The moisture protection test is defined in different stages. IPX4 certifies protection against splashwater from all sides. Battery-powered tools with this certification are therefore designed for daily use, even in rainy conditions.
Power Levels
The power tool is compatible with the Smart Connector, meaning it can be integrated into the STIHL connected system. Once you have attached a Smart Connector to the power tool, after one-time commissioning it will record the power tool’s operating hours and transmit them to the STIHL connected App via Bluetooth. In addition to displaying the operational time, the app also provides an overview of all necessary maintenance, ensuring that you do not overlook important upkeep and that your power tool is always in a ready-to-use condition. STIHL Anti-Vibration System
Intense vibration at the handles of power tools can lead to longer-term effects of blood vessels in the hands and arms. STIHL have therefore developed an effective anti-vibration system where by the oscillations from the machines engine are dampened which significantly reduces vibrations at the handles.
