Manual Fuel Pump
A small fuel pump delivers fuel to the carburettor at the touch of a button. This reduces the number of starting strokes required from a cold start.
Automatic Decompression
Automatic decompression makes it easier to start the engine. This is because the system automatically opens the intake valve when the engine is started; the opening time of the valve is extended, and as a result the compression pressure is reduced. This significantly reduces the force required on the starter cord.
Stop Button
With the stop button, you can switch off your power tool quickly and easily for a short break, for example. As the button springs back to its original position after actuation, the engine is immediately ready to start again. This provides more comfort after breaks and increases your work efficiency.
Ergonomic Bike Handle
The ergonomic bike handle helps you mow large areas quickly and effortlessly, as this handle supports a natural brushcutter movement. The bike handle is easy to adjust and secure.
Tool-Free Handle Adjustment
You can individually adjust the ergonomic bike handle (mowing handle) using the central clamping device. Thanks to the tool-free handle adjustment, you do not need any tools for this. The bike handle can be rotated 90 degrees for transport and space-saving storage.
STIHL 4-MIX Engine
The STIHL 4-MIX® engine is a four-stroke engine that does not require any oil circuit components, thanks to refuelling with an oil and gasoline mix. That’s why it’s more compact, more lightweight, and requires less maintenance than conventional four-stroke engines, while at the same time being powerful and offering a comfortable sound pattern. STIHL 4-MIX® engines comply with the European Stage V emissions directive.
STIHL Anti-Vibration System
Intense vibration at the handles of power tools can lead to longer-term effects of blood vessels in the hands and arms. STIHL have therefore developed an effective anti-vibration system where by the oscillations from the machines engine are dampened which significantly reduces vibrations at the handles.
